GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR USE OF CHURCH FACILITIES

REVISED AS AT MAY 2000

1. All interested users of Church Facilities must complete an “Application Form UOF (Use of Facilities)”.

2. Applicant is responsible for the use and returning of equipment.

3. All equipment must be returned on the same day unless arrangement has been made.

4. All lights, fans, air-con must be turned off.

5. To inform Mr Bala (Caretaker) to lock the facility after meeting.

6. Preference in reservation will be given to members of Wesley Church. Christian organizations and friends of members may apply.

7. Donation is payable in advance to defray capital and maintenance expenses excluding cleaning up services, lost or damages. Wesley Church sanctioned activities are exempted from donation for the use of premises and equipments.

Wesley Church members can park in the church compound free of charge.

8. To ensure compliance with established general guidelines of use of facilities, a Security Deposit where applicable will be collected upon successful application.

Church members will be exempted from Security Deposit.

9. The stipulated Security Deposit will be refunded in full provided there is no contravention of the prevailing general guidelines governing the use of the facilities concerned. A reasonable sum entirely at the discretion of Wesley Church will be deducted where applicable to restore damaged properties or to pay for expenses not otherwise provided for.

10. Wesley Church reserves the right to cancel reservation of use of facilities without notice or assigning any reason whatsoever especially in cases where general guidelines governing usage are breached.

11. Except for Wesley Church sanctioned activities, the use of facilities are not permitted on Christmas Day, Easter and Good Friday.

12. Use of the facilities for political purposes or purposes which are detrimental to the interests of Wesley Church and its members is strictly prohibited.

13. Wesley Church will not be responsible for any mishap, loss, injury and or loss of life.

14. The following should be strictly observed: no smoking, no gambling, no consumption of alcoholic drinks and drugs.

15. Wesley Church reserves the right to allow only approved caterers to operate in its premises.

16. Orderly conduct and decent attire are expected. Excessive noise is not allowed.

17. Wesley Church reserves the right to amend the general guidelines governing use of facilities as and when it deems fit.

18. Exception to general guidelines under special circumstances can be made by Pastor or his duly appointed representative.
