Report of 2nd Penang Coy Girls’ Brigade 

to the First Local Conference on 19 February  2004

   

  1. Recruitment Drive

This was carried out in the month of January at  Methodist Girls’ School  (Primary & Secondary), Convent Pulau Tikus & Jelutong Sec. School  We will also have a welcoming back party for the senior girls.

   

  1. Weekly meetings.

Day:  Tuesday                                                         Day:  Friday

Time: 1.30 – 2.30 pm                                            Time:  2.50 – 4.50 pm

Venue:  MGS Primary (whole year)                    Venue:  MGS Secondary (until April)

Enrolment: 17 girls                                              Enrolment:  16 girls

 

            Day:  Saturday

            Time:  8.00 – 9.30 a.m.

Venue:  Convent Pulau Tikus (only 6 official meetings in school)

Enrolment:  55 girls

 

Day: Saturday

Time: 9.30 – 11.30am

Venue:  Jelutong Secondary School (only 8 official meetings in school)

Enrolment:  40 girls

 

Whenever there is no official meeting in the respective schools, programmes will be conducted at WMC on Saturdays from 3.30 to 5.30pm.

 

  1. Officers, Helpers & Young Leaders

Currently, we have 4 officers, 4 helpers and 6 young leaders

      

  1.  Enrolment Service

This will be held on 25 July 2004

 

  1. Young Leaders Preliminary Training (YLPT)

The camp will be conducted during the one week school break in March.  We plan to send 10 girls to this camp

   

  1. Officers’ Retreat cum AGM

To be held during mid-semester school holidays at Kuching, Sarawak.

   

  1. Young Leaders Spiritual Leadership Training (YLGBSL)

This camp is to be held in December and we plan to send about 5 girls.
