Our Mission & Mission: To create an environment of love and care to senior citizens
Primary objective:
(i) To offer supportive help to the elderly who might have to stay in the daytime while their family members are at work.
(ii) To provide relief to caregivers of the elderly who need a break of half day
(iii) to provide an outreach fellowship corner for the elderly in the community
The Centre is open from Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.. Participants may arrive at the Centre by 8.30 am but must be fetch home not later than 5.00pm. Transport cab be arranged ( for a nominal fee) for the elderly to commute to and from the Centre within the Air Itam and Green Lane area
The programmes conducted by the Centre include maintenance exercises as well as social and recreational activities in a supervised setting .In order to minister to the participants in a wholesome way the activities would include devotions, personal and group discussions , art and craft, board games ( not mahjung), puzzles, handicraft and outings
Participants are encouraged to defray the expenses of the Centre by contributing RM40.00 per week which include a lunch and two tea breaks daily.
Criteria for Admission:
Must not be suffering from any
infectious disease
Must not require intensive medical and
nursing care.
Must not be incontinent.
Should not be wheelchair bound.
The staff shall assess every applicant
before admission.
